Objective:
To promote the Grand Opening of Madame Tussauds Hollywood to the fun-loving patrons of Dave & Buster’s.

Elements:
Dave & Buster’s is a full-service restaurant with a popular video arcade. Madame Tussauds Hollywood was promoted online via email and website inclusion and on-site at five locations with signage, an Enter-to-Win Sweepstakes and distribution of discount flyers.

The five participating Dave & Busters locations were: Irvine, Ontario, Orange, Santa Anita and San Diego.

Sweepstakes:
Register to Win a Family 4-pack of tickets to Madame Tussauds Hollywood at participating Dave & Buster’s locations. The entry box was located in the Dave & Buster’s store in the video arcade.

Online:
The Sweepstakes contest was included on the participating locations’ websites and the $5 discount was emailed to their database in a dedicated email blast to 13,000 Southern California residents.

At each participating location, the Sweepstakes was promoted via signs and the $5 discount flyers were placed at the Dave & Buster’s store and in restaurant check inserts.

Overview of Results:
Approximately 70,000 Dave & Buster’s customers were reached and each Dave & Buster’s location received over 100 entries to the Sweepstakes, building buzz and excitement for the Grand Opening of Madame Tussauds Hollywood.
