Kodak Theatre with Wilshire the Fire Dog for Annie
Objective: To promote the January 2009 engagement of Annie at Kodak Theatre to families of Firefighters in Southern California.

Walk-on Role for Wilshire The Fire Dog
- In January 2009, The Kodak Theatre and Annie offered the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association the opportunity for its mascot, Wilshire the Fire Dog to be featured in a walk on role on opening night.
- After Wilshire’s appearance on stage, the patrons had the opportunity to take photos with Wilshire and to donate to the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association.
- Wilshire’s appearance in the production was advertised and promoted through the Kodak Theatre email database and was pitched to the local media outlets.
Promotion of Annie to the Relief Association and L.A. area Firefighters
- The Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association promoted Annie and Wilshire’s opening night appearance to their members via
o Email blast
o Distribution of posters and flyers to fire stations throughout Los Angeles
o Full page color ad in the January issue of the LAFRA
o Banner ad on the homepage of the Friend’s of Wilshire Relief Foundation
o At their annual benefit in December of 2008
